Essence Of L Medi Spa, is located in the heart of White Rock and serves the lower mainland reaching from Vancouver to Chilliwack.

 

 

At Essence Of L Medi Spa, we take pride in evaluating and designing a course of treatments to suit each individual client. All of the laser and aesthetic treatments are performed by myself, Leah LaVanway.

I am a certified Medical Esthetician and graduated from the Blanche MacDonald Institute with honours. I have extended my medical training with Sciton Laser for BBL Photo Facials, Forever Young BBL, Skin Tyte™ II, and Forever Bare BBL Laser Hair Removal, Thermo-Coagulation from Dectro International, Universal Contour Body Wrap training from Body Beautiful Canada, Clinical Skincare & Peel training through GlyMed Plus, Skin Care Mineral Make Up through Jane Iredale, and Cold Laser & Microdermabrasion training through Medi Spa Therapeutics,where I also worked as a Cold Laser and Microdermabrasion Educator.

I have over 12 years of trained experience in the industry, and over 17 years of personal experience dealing with Cystic Acne. I have been through the heart ache, depression, frustration, and failure of every day acne and “empty promise” over the counter skin care products. I understand the support, education, and patience it takes to go through these traumatizing skin conditions. It is through that hardship that I developed my “WHY” for going into the ever evolving esthetic industry. It is my personal goal to coach, educate and treat clients while working through skin care conditions.

 

 

My number one philosophy is Client Education. I enroll in continuing education classes and seminars throughout the year to stay current and up to date with the newest technologies and changes in the industry.

 

 

 

Standards

Essence Of L Medi Spa is fully registered and licensed through education and the city of White Rock.I am highly recognized through the Fraser Health Board for Health and Cleanliness standards and Code of Ethics. Safety and Hygiene Responsibilities are carried throughout the practice. I opt for Eco friendly cleaning agents where permitted.

 

Products & Services

All of the products and services are carefully hand selected and continue to adapt with advancements in the industry. Regular equipment maintenance and continuing education for all product and equipment lines is a priority to stay current in a very demanding, evolving industry.

At Essence Of L Medi Spa, I serve all age groups and sexes, however the majority of clientele are busy, working professionals. Most clients are looking for a quick and effective treatment without the down time and pain associated with under the knife procedures. Most of the treatments are classified as ” lunch time treatments” which offer a rejuvenating and stimulating procedure that gives you that beautiful glow to the skin.
