CLINICAL PEEL OVERVIEW

Chemical peels provide an exfoliation of the skin using organic fruit acids which can be customized to any skin type and many different skin concerns. It results in fresh, glowing skin. At Essence Of L Medi Spa, Chemical peels are recommended to our clients to effectively treat and address skin conditions that affect the superficial layers of the skin.

WHAT IS A CLINICAL PEEL

Chemical Peels involve the application of an active solution, or combination of solutions, to the skin. The active ingredients exfoliate the dead, sloughed, superficial skin to allow more vibrant skin underneath to emerge. There are several medical grade solutions provided at Essence Of L such as Glycolic, Lactic, and Alumier MD which can all treat a variety of skin concerns.

I started going to Leah in July of 2015 for Laser Hair removal on my legs. I have very coarse, black hair on my legs, some hair follicles have three or four growing out of them!! Every time I shaved my legs, I would end up with razor burn, and a lot of the time, each follicle would bleed. I was a nightmare. I was very sceptical of this laser when I heard of it, I thought it was too good to be true, but I went for my first treatment and I left happy. After a couple of weeks, I noticed a huge change in my hair growth and only after one visit! I am not post third treatment, I haven’t shaved my legs in over 2 weeks, and I have little to no hair left. The hair that *is* there is soft and very fine - A huge difference from where I started with thick, sharp, black hairs. I have sent many of my friends to see Leah, (some of which are aestheticians who work at other spas) and they are so happy with their results as well. Cancellation Policy: For all appointments cancelled within 48 hours, a $100 fee will apply to the credit card on file. For appointments that are either no-showed or cancelled the day of your scheduled appointment, we will charge the full amount of the missed service to the credit card on file.
